I found Mr B Kumar to have a good bedside manner, he looks directly at you and listens to your anxieties about being diagnosed with cancer and informs you of what will happen, operations, on-going and long term care even down to drawing diagrams. I found him and his team dedicated and caring.

I found Mr Kumar extremely attentive, he allowed me all the time I needed to ask endless questions; he also drew me diagrams to explain how and why things were happening. I found the ward staff hard working, happy and attentive. Because of where I live I have the choice of going to either Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital or the West Suffolk Hospital and I will always choose West Suffolk because of the way I am treated and looked after by everyone I have come into contact with. Very rarely have I been kept waiting for more than a few minutes with an out-patient appointment.

Very, very pleased with the care Mr Kumar and his team provided. From my diagnosis, though surgery and afterwards he has always been positive, calm, re-assuring, attentive, quick to put you at your ease and to give you as much information as possible. Despite giving me the news I had breast cancer, he and his nurses were so positive and made things so much better for me by their wonderful 'can do' attitude. I particularly recommend Mr Kumar because he has a gift for explaining things in a simple, concise way which makes things so much easier to take in and takes a lot of the fear out of the situation and allows you to feel some measure of control while at the same time feeling safe in his hands, knowing that he is very much in control and doing everything he can for you! Thank you very much.

Mr. Kumar embodied three core concepts that meant the world to me: professionalism, dedication, and thankful service. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. This fact totally floored me, to say the least. Yet, Mr. Kumar's demeanor and candidness put both my wife and I at ease. He explained, step-by-step, what will happen next, and what could be the possible outcomes. Mr. Kumar's bedside-manners were (remarkable and) outstanding, calm, and reassuring. It was one of the main factors in how I coped with this devastating news. Thank you, so, so much for your service to my wife and I. It meant the world to me. Sincerely, Delain.
